Stoneleigh Cottage, Muker Stoneleigh Cottage is located in the small and remote village of Muker, in Upper Swaledale, in one of the most northerly parts of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Muker is a hub of walking activities attracting walkers of all ages and fitness levels and Stoneleigh Cottage serves as an ideal base for your walking holiday as both the Pennine Way and Wainwright's famous Coast to Coast Walk pass very close. Muker is a well-known hot-spot for its beautiful scenery. The biggest attraction to Muker is the glorious meadows, best seen in May and June. During this time the fields come alive with an array of buttercups and rare flowers. Stoneleigh cottage looks onto these beautiful meadows so you won't need to travel far to see the vibrant colours. Muker is a village of all seasons; when spring lands it brings new life to the dales with new lambs bouncing in the fields, summer brings the sun shining showing the dale to its true grandeur. May and June are the busiest months for Muker due to the striking, vibrant meadows. Autumn illuminates the dale with a spectacle of red and golden colours. Once December arrives the village falls silent and serene, crisp with the freshness of winter. Stoneleigh Cottage is suitable for 2-4 people in two double rooms. The cottage has use of a garden and private parking. Please note that the cottage is non-smoking and unfortunately we can no longer accept dogs.
